A man approached the board before gasping in horror and running away. Only for a curious young girl to follow the man and take the brightly colored pendant for herself.
The pendant begins to emit a shiny, green glow that grows bigger and bigger as the day goes on. A young girl walks by with her leashed dog and they both stop to inspect it.
The tenants, too much in the grasp of their daily minutiae, were almost entirely oblivious to the item's presence. Until one dreary morning a certain curious girl laid eyes upon it.
